Never Fail

What am I doing wrong with this show? I've never felt so...powerless...when it comes to making a show a success. The success of a show lies in the director's hands, so it's up to me to motivate, inspire, lead these kids to something they can be proud of. I cannot just throw up my hands. I have to take charge and lead them. I have made them this promise--that they can be proud of what they've done. I'll work my hardest to help us all achieve this end.

I've never failed at this before. I won't fail now.

  1. Ah ah ah----you know that perspective never gets you anywhere! "What am I doing wrong" is just a recipe for disaster, in my opinion. Step outside and look at it from the 3rd person point of view, and I'm sure you'll see things that you might do to help, but also areas where others need to step up. All of life is a collaborative effort, after all, right?

  2. But what if others don't see the need to step up?? They don't have the same vision as I do? What then???
